Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that tell another company when a page has loaded. The Site uses these tools:
| Tool | Provider | What it does | How to opt out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Google LLC | Measures visits, pages viewed, and where visitors come from | Google Analytics opt-out add-on |
| Google Ads | Google LLC | Measures how our Google ads perform and may show our ads to past visitors | Google My Ad Center |
| Meta Pixel | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Measures how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and may show our ads to past visitors | Ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | LinkedIn Corporation | Measures how our LinkedIn ads perform and may show our ads to past visitors | LinkedIn ad settings for guests |
| Vimeo video player | Vimeo.com, Inc. | Plays embedded videos and may set cookies and collect viewing data when a video loads or plays | Your browser’s cookie settings |
Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Marketing emails we send through Mailchimp and Klaviyo may contain tracking pixels and tracked links. These tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in the situations below.

These companies handle information for us so we can run the Site and our business:

Advertising partners
Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn receive information about your visit directly through the tags on the Site. This includes cookie identifiers, your IP address, and the pages you viewed. These companies may combine it with information they already hold about you and use it under their own privacy policies.
We are not paid for this information. Even so, some state privacy laws treat it as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising, or as a “sale.” We treat it that way for every visitor:
- What is shared: cookie and device identifiers, your IP address, and the pages you viewed
- Who receives it: Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, as advertising platforms
- Why: to measure our ads and show our ads to past visitors
- Your right: you can opt out at any time. See “Opting out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising” below
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Legal and business reasons
We may also disclose information:
- To comply with a law, court order, or lawful government request
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of Advluence, our clients, or others
- As part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business, in which case the new owner must honor this policy or notify you of changes
Sensitive information
We do not collect or sell sensitive personal information.
Your choices and rights
Marketing emails
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@advluence.com and ask to be removed. We act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. We may still reply to inquiries you send us.
Cookies and advertising
You can limit tracking in several ways:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
- Use the opt-out links in the table under “Cookies and tracking technologies”
- Opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org
These opt-outs are stored in your browser, so you need to repeat them on each browser and device you use.
Opting out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
You have the right to tell us not to sell or share your personal information and not to use it for targeted advertising. You can opt out in any of these ways:
- Email privacy@advluence.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” Within 15 business days, we will remove your contact details from any advertising use and explain how to switch off the tags in your browser
You do not need an account to opt out, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.
Access, correction, and deletion
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop using your information for marketing
To make a request, email privacy@advluence.com or write to the address under “Contact us.” We may ask you to confirm your identity, usually by replying from the email address we have on file. We respond within 45 days, at no charge.
We will not treat you differently for making a request. We may keep information when the law requires it or when we need it to complete work you asked for or to handle a legal claim. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you can ask us to review the decision.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting that asks websites not to sell or share your information.
State privacy rights
Some US states give their residents specific privacy rights. We honor the requests described above from every visitor, whatever state you live in.
Nevada residents may ask us not to sell certain personal information. We do not sell personal information as Nevada law defines a sale, but you can send a request to privacy@advluence.com and we will keep it on file.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:
- Contact form inquiries: 36 months, or longer if you become a client
- Email list: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep your address on a do-not-email list so we do not contact you again
- Analytics data: 14 Months
- Client billing records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
After that, we delete the information or remove the details that identify you.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) on the Site and limiting access to people who need the information to do their work. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States and intended for businesses in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Links and embedded content from other companies
The Site links to our pages on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Vimeo, and includes videos hosted by Vimeo. Those companies collect and use information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Please read their policies before using their services.
Children’s privacy
The Site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email privacy@advluence.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we will post a notice on the Site before it takes effect.
